These are all mandatory salon policies regarding COVID-19 for you to look over. 

If for some reason you do not agree with them, please know that we will not be making ANY exceptions to these policies in order to ensure the safety of our clients and stylists.

Everything on this list is important. 

If you are feeling unwell or sick in the past 72 hours please reschedule your appointment and stay home. If you are feeling unwell or have the following symptoms please do not enter the building and call your healthcare provider. Symptoms include: fever, cough & shortness of breath. Please make sure to reschedule or cancel your appointment under your stylists’ cancellation policy. 

Salon Key Prevention Practices

  •  Physical distancing to the maximum extent possible while doing services; both at work and not at work time  

  • Use of face coverings by works and clients  

  • Frequent hand-washing and regular cleaning of salon and disinfection of all equipment     

  • Training stylists on these and other elements of the COVID-19 prevention plan    

  • Stylist stations 6 feet apart to leave space between you and your neighbor 

  •  Use of in salon air purification system 

Prior to Your Appointment  

  • Stylists are required to receive contactless temperature checks upon arrival to salon every day    

  • All stylists must wear a mask at all times    

  • Salon encourages social distancing as best we can when not performing services 

  • ​All equipment and salon is cleaned before, between & after each client with EPA registered disinfectant that demonstrates bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal activity and is approved for COVID-19. 

  • ​Stylists are trained in cleanliness of salon equipment and salon guidelines.   

  •  Stylists have refreshed their sanitation skills by participating in an online training conducted by Barbicide; the EPA registered disinfectant we use  

  •   No additional guests, children or pets whatsoever  

  • If you are coming with someone who has an appointment before or after, they will still be asked to wait outside of the salon     

  • Please do not bring any personal items like electronics, food or jackets (Handbags, cell phones & wallets are allowed)

Your Appointment Time  

  • Upon arrival, wait in your car and please text me at 206.953.5030 to tell me you have arrived    

  • While the door may remain open for airflow... Please do not enter the salon until your stylist has let you know they are ready for you and have properly sanitized    

  • NO ADDITIONAL GUESTS. Please come alone.    

  • Unfortunately we will not be able to greet you with a hug or handshake but please know we can’t wait to do this again in the future

During Your Appointment    

  • Upon entry clients will be shown to the restroom where they must wash their hands    

  • All clients must wear a mask for the duration of their service. Keep in mind, if you are receiving a color service your mask MAY get stained. We recommend a disposable mask if possible.

*Please note masks must be the style that wraps around the ear; the salon will have a Wilder masks for $10 if you do not have one*  

  • If a client refuses to wear a mask they will be asked to leave immediately.   •    We encourage stylists to help clients with products so there is minimal cleaning needed    

  • We will not be serving refreshments in our reusable cups/mugs at this time. Please bring your own beverage of choice in a closed container.     

  • A clean towel and drape is used on every client     

  • All high-touch surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between every guest 

After Your Appointment

  • Wilder is a cash-free environment (this includes tips) ; please plan to use a cashless form of payment such as card or electronic invoice through your artist.   

  • We would love to help you with snagging products so there is minimal cleaning needed

Feel sick? STAY HOME!

Please notify me as soon as possible so we can reschedule you and I am able to accommodate another appointment.

Please do not feel obligated to rush for your hair appointment! I am looking forward to seeing you and hugging you (in the future) but if you do not feel comfortable coming in to a salon for your hair services, I will be here when you are ready!
